ARTIST PROFILE

Gil Perry

Gil Perry is an artist/painter currently living and working in Springfield, VT.

A native of Connecticut, Perry studied art at the New England School of Art, the Rhode Island School of Design, the University of Massachusetts/Amherst and Colby Sawyer College. His early work depicts dreamlike images in graphite. Later, he was introduced to painting principles of American impressionist Frank Vincent DuMond. His subsequent landscape paintings capture his love for rural Vermont scenes.
