Artist Spotlight: Lynn VanNatta, Reading, VT

This Week at the Shop – We are honored to offer for sale the work of several local artists at our Claremont, NH shop. This week we’re featuring the work of Vermont artist, and friend, Lynn VanNatta. Lynn was recently juried into the American Impressionist Society’s annual online exhibition with her work, “High Tide” (below), joining some of America’s best impressionistic artists. It’s an honor that demonstrates Lynn’s expertise and dedication to her art. A lifelong artist, Lynn graduated from the University of Massachusetts, with her BFA and certification in Art Education. In her Vermont studio, Lynn paints impressionistic still lifes and portraits in lush colors with free brush strokes. Her plein air paintings are inspired by the rolling hilled vistas and seasonal hues of Vermont, Maine, and Italy – her favorite places to paint.
