Robert K. Carsten is an artist/painter/pastelist currently living and working in Springfield, VT.

A graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design, Robert was a scholar at Academia di Belle Arti in Carrara, Italy. He is a master pastelist in the Pastel Society of America, a master circle pastelist in the International Assoc. of Pastel Societies (IAPS), and a contributing writer to the Pastel Journal and The Artist’s Magazine.
Robert’s award-winning paintings and drawings of pastoral landscapes and intimate still lifes are collected worldwide.
