Oil-on-canvas by Burmese artist Nyein Chan Su (NCS)

This week we feature three beautiful oil-on-canvas paintings received for framing, painted by Burmese artist Nyein Chan Su (NCS). He showcases beautifully executed works inspired by nats, the spirits worshipped in central Burma alongside Buddhism. The framing took on a design with clean, simple lines. And like always, allows the art to stand out – in these pieces with their flowing lines, and bold strokes and colors. Each is a nested frame-within-a-frame fabrication, hand-rubbed to tone and bring out subtle variations in the finish. Thank you! Art of your own waiting for attention? Projects big or small, we’d love to help. Contact us below, or stop by our Claremont, NH shop anytime! (Appointments appreciated)
