From Personal Photos to WWII Mementos…

Many of our projects during the week are simple, personal photos, artwork, or mementos often with great sentimental value. We saw several of these this week including lovely personal photos of destinations unknown, but with one that local Claremonters may recognize as Mt. Ascutney, and likely from a beautiful sunset overlook within the Cornish Forest. Each properly matted and framed in a classic dark finish, hand-rubbed to matte the shine and behind UV-protective glass for help against fading from light exposure.
Also this week, a WWII-era cloth aviators map issued to a WWII Air Force Chaplan long since passed, whose grandson and family can now enjoy. Silk, cloth, and similar items are delicate work. With great care the cloth was de-wrinkled, lightly cleaned, and mounted on conservation materials within a beautiful custom frame beneath UV-filtered Plexiglas to help insulate against light damage and condensation. This lovely memento from a bygone era will remain safely protected and proudly displayed for many years of enjoyment for the family. Thank you!
From original art, to personal iPhone images, to cloth and many other objects, all of our projects get the same attention to detail and to budget. Let us know how we can help with artwork of your own! Please contact us at our Claremont, NH shop for more information, or just send us a message here.
